About Storytime At The Station
Storytime at the Station, created by Wave of Unity, invites families to their local fire or police station for an uplifting, interactive reading experience led by uniformed first responders. Each session blends storytime, fun, and community connection to make reading an adventure kids will never forget.
Where community heroes and young readers meet.

Storytime at the Station is more than just reading a book — it’s about building trust, sparking curiosity, and creating joyful moments that children carry with them long after the story ends.
By meeting first responders in a positive, playful environment, kids see the heroes in their community as approachable and caring, while families gain a safe space to learn, connect, and grow together.
