About The W.A.V.E. Youth Mentorship Program
W.A.V.E. (Wisdom, Accountability, Voice, Elevation) is a school-based mentorship and personal development program created by Wave of Unity.
We meet students where they are — in their schools, in their communities, and in their personal journeys — to provide the guidance, skills, and encouragement they need to thrive.
Empowering youth ages 12–18 with the skills, mentorship, and confidence to lead their own futures.

Each week, middle and high school students will participate in interactive sessions designed to build leadership, boost self-esteem, and prepare them for the real world.
Through honest conversations, hands-on activities, and connection with trusted mentors, W.A.V.E. aims to help students rise together.

How the W.A.V.E Program Works
W.A.V.E. isn’t just an after-school program — it’s a weekly experience designed to inspire, equip, and connect students.

While all W.A.V.E. students learn together, we also create intentional spaces where young men and young women can connect on topics that matter most to them.

Every participant will receive:

Access to inspiring voices – monthly sessions with guest speakers, local leaders, and industry experts

Career & Education Exploration – site visits to courts, medical facilities, local businesses, trade schools, and colleges to spark curiosity and broaden opportunities

Community service opportunities – earn service hours through W.A.V.E. and Wave of Unity projects
