But for many young women, the financial burden of prom can turn what should be a magical experience into a stressful one. That’s where DFW Prom Dreams comes in.

What is DFW Prom Dreams?

DFW Prom Dreams is a heartfelt initiative by Wave of Unity designed to give 10 deserving senior girls an unforgettable ultimate prom experience. Through the support of community sponsors, volunteers, and local businesses, we provide everything from the perfect prom dress to professional styling, transportation, and even a pre-prom sendoff event.

This initiative goes beyond just providing material support—it’s about building confidence, celebrating achievements, and creating an experience that every young woman deserves to cherish.

How It Works

The selection process is nomination-based, meaning that school staff, administrators, and mentors play a crucial role in identifying students who would benefit the most from this opportunity. We look for young women who have demonstrated resilience, character, and perseverance despite challenges.

Those selected will embark on a one-of-a-kind journey that includes:

✔️ Dress Shopping Day – A special event where each participant selects their dream dress.

✔️ Pampering & Glam – Professional hair and makeup services to make them shine.

✔️ Pre-Prom Celebration – A beautifully curated experience that leads up to their big night.

✔️ Luxury Transportation – A party bus or sprinter van to escort them to prom in style.

✔️ Memories to Last a Lifetime – Professional photography and videography to capture the night.
